The Apps Directory needs improvements

Hello Creators,

I was really entertained by the apps in the app directory but the app directory needs an update. The apps are old, some don't work, when I click some categories the page couldn't find any apps that fit that category even though it says there are. We need productive apps like a private video chat app. Share your app ideas below and what you think about the app directory.

That thread is 2 years old, though. I think we need to support a new thread on app concerns to show Ning that it's still a relevant and important topic to users.

Apps could have an enormous impact on the success of my community, which will primarily be dependent on young users (teens and twenty-somethings), but right now the main app page loads like a slug; the inventory lists incorrectly, showing categories even when I have deleted all the content from those categories; and I suspect the total number of apps I have enabled is incorrect, but I can't confirm this, because whenever I tried to load the second page of the ALL list, the site freezes and eventually I get an error message. This will drive my audience away rather than make my community a success. I think fixing the app system needs to be a priority. Apps are part of the fabric of the internet now, and crucial to the success of many social environments. We pay a lot of money to use your service; please update this vital part of it ASAP.
