The gap between the top navigation bar and the content

Hi Eric,

is there some way I can get rid of that gap I'm mentioning above without being a techie?

The gap is extremely annoying, and makes my Ning website look very unprofessional. Other than that I am quite happy with Ning.

(If your templates would look as nice as the design interface on Ning, it would be fantastic, but I have asked for this before. I've been on Ning for 1,5 years now, and not so much has happened regarding the design templates, so I guess things will stay the way they are, right?)

Give this a try. Adjust margin-bottom suit to your preference.

Thanks man, it worked! The gap is gone. The background color of the navigation bar went away with it, but it still is much better than before. I have the same issue with my logo banner, that there is a gap of about 20 pix below it, any code hints for that? :)
