A lot of high tech stuff going on at the moment, so why not chillax and quote to do this....
I want to have a public group that people join, BUT, I don't want anyone else in the group to know who has joined, nor the number of people that have joined.
Then, I will make the group private.
So in all, even when the group is public and listed, I don't want people to see how many or who is in it, likewise when it goes private.
Any takers, please quote e: john@bizsetnetworking.com. Thanks.

Hi Eric, well it's actually the opposite reason sort of....Each group will be one of my fortnightly offline meetings, (I hold approx 15 different fortnightly groups). I want people to book on through the website, but as you imply, if Bolton networking has only 4 people in it then they may well hesitate to attend, but of course it is going to take time to educate people to book on and also some people will resist doing it - human nature.
So I want to keep the numbers hidden, because with the best will in the world I reckon only 50% of people will be organised enough to book on first, they either phone me, tell me through twitter, email me, tell me at an earlier event etc.
If people realise the numbers are hidden it removes the issue.
BTW, you can answer my other question, why can't you attach pdf's on EVENTS, as the reason I am using groups for this, is that when the group has met, I will close the group and attach pdf invoices to the discussion board. I would much rather use the EVENTS module as it makes more sense but can't.
Thanks.
