Hi all
I saw Ceddy J's post about iFraming Advanced Search Onto The Homepage, Is There A Way? and thought I'd post one possible solution here.
Create a Text Box on your homepage (middle column best).
In HTML mode of that new Text Box, paste this:
<div class="advsearch"></div>
Now in your Custom Code, paste this:
<script type="text/javascript">
x$(document).ready(function() {
x$('.advsearch').load('/profiles/members/advancedSearch form#advancedMemberSearchForm');
});
</script>
You now have your advanced search form on your homepage. I tested it and it seemed to work OK.
Enjoy
SP

Quick question, do u know how to add other fields on the advance search?
I am mainly interested in text boxes (since it is not possible to look into them through the search function on the floating bar). But forum, blog... would be also nice to have =)
Thanks!
