Hi folks,

Probably this tip is very simply but could be effective enough to encourage members to add a discussion quickly. Basically what I'm doing is highlighting the "ADD A DISCUSSION" button  to make it more visible to members. So here we go.....

Instructions:

Simply copy and paste the following code into Advanced CSS.

Note: If you are looking for a person to customize your site, I'm available for hire. You may want to check my profile or you can directly contact me via my email id bernardmax2@gmail.com

very nice bernard, and thats teh same blue we use on Well Kunnected so I will utilize this simple, yet awesome tip! Thanks for posting and hows the splash page coming along? ;-)

Than you Armani.

Hey Bernard

Im actually using Geroge Comptons stylesheet tip and am going to add all of this CSS in a stylesheet! Its a bit of a lot of code to add to advanced when I already have things in there lol SO EVERYONE THIS IS AN ATTRIBUTE TO BERNARDS ALREADY GREAT TIP! If you would like to save room in your advanced css box, follow these instructions here:

1) copy the code above provided by Bernard and save it to something like a word or textpad. When you save the file be sure to change the "extension" of the file to "css" so your file should read something like "bernardlamaforum.css" just make sure the extension is "css" and save

2) go to your NC dashboard and click "file manager" from there upload the file you just created and hit "upload"

3) now that your forum css file is uploaded on your network, you're ready to add it to your "custom code" box. Use the following code to put your new stylesheet in:

replace the line that says "your new stylesheet" with the URL to your new stylesheet, you can grab this by clicking "copy link" on the file you just uploaded

4) now your stylesheet code should look something like this:

take that code and add it to your custom code box and hit "save"...you're done!

Again, this saves space in your advanced css section in case like me you have a lot of code there already. George Compton taught me how to create a stylesheet and in case anyone missed that discussion, you can find it here :

Enjoy the great tip provided by Mr. Bernard Lama!!!

Nice tip. Implemented on my Portals.

Thanks friend.

Nice addition to got with my "Read More" button but I may have to pass until I reduce the number of CSS characters in my custom css field...I'm approaching my limit.

BTW: Your site looks a lot more polished and professional Bernard. I'm interested in a few aspects but will send a private message if I can't figure out who to do it myself.

Regards

TDB

Ohhh sure Troy I will wait for your message. BTW, thanks for liking my tip.

Nice one, Bernard.

Thank you Alison. I feel a little weird because now-a-days I don't have much time to interact with NC folks.

Thanks Bernard,

I used on my site http://thatsme.in and it is working fine. You are a GEM dear.

Thank you Shesh..

Nice ....Thanks
