Hello everyone, I just wanted to share some adjustments I did today, using the new ability "textbox above top content lanched within these day,

The whole point about what I did, is to think like a regualer member, being at your site often, contributing with content regular. Beside this it's about the "more silent users" to get tempted to get on this Top Content list, getting more profile attention.
You wan't your members to contribute a much as possible, since I believe this is one of the keys, to increase member engagement and loyalty. When members feed the site with content, you get more content to recommend and show around your "Latest Activity" sections. When users experience their content being "
put in the spotlight", aka the "15 minuttes of fame" concept, they will feel as a true part of your site. When users feel like a part of your project, they will come back way more regular and with new content, links or statusupdates each time. If you are running your own banner add's, you'll get more traffic around you link offers, what means... more clicks, and more money.
Here's what i've done, creating button link icons for direct access to the upload module of the most vital sections of your site (if you are running any upload features). The different pages for the upload modules have a URL lool like this:
yourdomain.ning.com/video/video/newWithUploader
or...
yourdomain.xxx/video/video/newWithUploader (If you run URL redirect)
You'll be able to get these page links, by clicking into the different upload module sections.
Ex. "Upload Video", "Upload Photos".... You get the idea right?
Now... what I did was to create some smooth buttons for these links, to get more inviting to the members scrolling the eyes down the "Top Content" pages. (You can place these buttons in any of the "Top Content" sections, if you got them spread out on their own seperat pages. There are texboxes for every page, so you can maximize these link buttons out more places than one.
To create your own buttons like I did, you need some basic Adobe Photoshop or free tools like Microsoft Paint skills, to get them done. Beside that, you need to know how to upload your image button to the textbox via "Upload Image" and then add the (a href) HTML tagline for linking the images, when user clicks.
Here's the visual look of this "Increase Upload" buttons i've did. (You are allowed to lift and copy down my buttons, free of charge, if they fit your colour layout and you like them. You will need to have the same textbox color as mine, to have them fit in the colour layout).
