Hi there,

In the Management Member, I already had translate the word of "Left" to the correct meaning in Portuguese, and when I go the Edit language the changes I made are there.

But I don't no why it does not appear correctly in the Management Member, and I did that change I long time ago, and it was ok, till this week that show the incorrect translation. Can you help me on this?

Is it also possible to create a language Portuguese PT? Because the Portuguese Brazilian is so different.?

Hi Nidia,

It may be that you need to do some additional translation work to have this appear correctly. Another thing to keep in mind is that we're always updating our features, so you may need to update your translation periodically.

I have seen Portuguese-PT translations in the past. You can create your own translation using the Language Editor.

I have some additional information for you about this. We recently made changes to the way that your My Network Dashboard displays language changes for security and accessibility reasons. Since changes made in the Language Editor can sometimes have harmful effects, we now prevent those from running on dashboard pages if there is an entry in the language your network currently uses. 

This change does not affect normal pages (non-dashboard pages). So in this case, I think the best thing to do is for us to fix the Portuguese (BR) translation of "Left" so that it is correct. I'll file a request to get this fixed—thanks for bringing it to our attention!

I've already change again the word "Left" to the correct translation, I did it before I post the message hie, and in the language editor it appear correct but then in the Managment Member still wrong. Because even in Brazilian the word "Restantes" mean that "still there" so very different than left (Saíram). 

Thanks also for the tip, I didn't saw that I could create a language. So I will start doing that!
