Yesterday I noticed that my Ning Network suddenly stopped allowing us to post on Twitter....saying connection failed.
Tried to go into my settings, remove my twitter connection and re establish them again. Now it is not letting me connect my account under Twitter sharing. It just says @ (remove). I try to remove and it doesn't do anything, I try to add a new connection and it doesn't do anything.
There must be a bug in the ning system....anyone else having a problem?

We've had several reports of Twitter issues across the platform in the last day or two. It looks like something on the Twitter API end of things may have changed, breaking your Integration feature. We've got a high priority escalation to our engineering team who will need to investigate further and fix this one. In the meantime, it may make sense to disable the Twitter Integration feature from the My Network tab to reduce member confusion and reports.
Thanks for your patience.
Permalink Reply by Armani Rouse on October 11, 2012 at 12:48pm Funny thing is I never reported this and the share to twitter feature has always been buggy! What happens exactly is you go to share something to twitter and it shows "the last update to Twitter failed" but when you go to latest activity it shows that whatever you were attempting to share went through? Its very confusing but a select of my members still use it im not sure if its telling them the same thing each time but they still use it.
Permalink Reply by Tim on October 13, 2012 at 9:03am I wonder when they will fix this, nothing has changed yet

Permalink Reply by Joe Taylor on October 15, 2012 at 1:14am I've got the same problem, I see I'm not alone
Permalink Reply by Ceddy J on October 15, 2012 at 5:12am Yes I'm getting the same issue as well. The past month my members have been better about sharing things to outside social networks and has played a key point of getting more members! I love you NING, but we have to get this taken care of. We might not have the invite feature for Twitter (which after long thought makes sense), but without members easily sharing their profiles and contact it takes them out of practice.
