Unable to Delete videos embedded using new codes

Before we became aware that the new embed codes from youtube would not work with Ning we attempted to upload several videos.

 

They now litter my site, unable to view them and unable to delete them.

 

I recall in a forum a month or two ago that these videos will be automatically deleted by ning, but they remain on my site showing just a video camera icon, and there is no option to delete them.

 

There must be lots of others with the same problem.

 

Has anyone found a solution?

Hi Wayne and Helen,

The generic video thumbnail is a function of whether the privacy enhanced mode was enabled or not and not a function of the iframe/old code selection. 

Now having said that, what happens when you click on the video in the all videos page? Does the page open up with the video (generic thumbnail) and title of video? ...and you are not able to play it? Does the drop down menu with the option to delete video show up above the video to the right? In Chrome and IE9 part of the video is hidden by the video. And with a HD video/it covers it completely. However...

 ...the good news is that using Firefox 4 the menu is displayed correctly over the video. This long story ends with ...download and use Firefox 4.

Hi James, thanks for your reply and sorry for the delay in replying (my baby is in hospital). From the 'All Videos' page when you click on the video, it opens up a page which says that the "page not found'. There is no option to delete the video anywhere. Any ideas? Thanks.
