Universal members' pages / Dump the dumb!

My members are having a problem using the TEXT BOX on their page.  I'd love to be able to name everyone's TEXT BOX "About Me" to make it easier for them to undertand this is the place to write something (bio) about themselves.

 

I also give my eye teeth to be able to dump those "Comment Walls"!!!  I hate them, they are so juvenile and childish.   We are adults on our site.  We have big boys and girls.  It is asking for attention.  I screams "Write on my wall if you like me!"  Dumb.  There should be a code to dump the dumb.   Someone do something!!!!!!!!!

Diane, posting "happy birthday", "have a nice day" and other colorful pleasantries is precisely the juvenile behavior the good "doctor" is referring to. It's one of the reasons I shun most social networks and have had to block one network creator here for abusing her privilege to post tacky graphics onto my wall.

Oh!  Really??  LOL  I think it's nice to stop by someone's page and wish them happy birthday.  We like that on our network.  

I guess it takes all kinds to make a world, huh?

I don't mind it, but the glittering. flashy content is garish. I run an extreme music site, and the most anyone would post to anyone's wall is music to share or promote their bands. 

For a business site, flashy graphics and music videos do indeed look juvenile, and on that point I must agree with Dr. Trocar.
