Hi,
I need to find a way to execute a url rewriting for some of the requests arriving at my network
The redirect is to a subdomain (cms.redemae.com.br) of my network domain, which is redemae.com.br
How would I do it with current tools that Ning provides?
1. Using URL Mappings tool I would configure the following mapping
/page/conteudos?_escaped_fragment=(.+)
would go to
http://cms.redemae.com.br?escaped_fragment=$1
2. But Ning URL Mapping tool does not allow a mapping to a sub-domain
I read in the help center about URL Rewriting (http://www.ning.com/help/?p=5829) and it seems to be possible to achieve what I need.
In one of the last paragrahs Ning says :
"Note that patterns match against relative URLs – that is, URLs with the opening host section removed. Because of this, you cannot rewrite a URL to point at a different host or domain. (This can be done, but requires additional PHP code.) Also note that rewrite rules are applied in the order in which they’re displayed."
Anyone did already perform such type of configuration in Ning?
Anyone has an idea/suggestion on how to achieve this?
Thanks,
LG
