URL Question

I am wondering if you can change your full url to not say ning in it.  

I bought a domain at GoDaddy and when you type it in www.TTTSupport.com  it takes you to my page but once you get there everything turns into twintwotwinsupport.ning.com  Is it possible to ever change that to even tttsupport.ning.com  ??? 

When people recieve emails from me it says from Twin Two Twin Support Community.... I really don't like that.... I'd like it to just TTTSupport

Actually your domain is redirecting to your sub domain (Ning). Set like this and try again.

Note: It takes several minutes to see the result.

Thank you!  I actually just tried that and I get this message: 

Your A record for tttsupport.com points to 8.6.19.68, but it should point to 208.82.16.68.

Im assuming i have to change something on GoDaddy?? Do you know what I should do?

I think I figured it out! Except... my A record is set for "1 week" do i have to go back all the time and add an extra week? or how do i make sure it stays there?  1 week was the longest in the options.

Hi Shannon,

I suspect the '1 week' option is the TTL (Time To Live) period for the record. This is the amount of time that GoDaddy tells various computers they should retain the record for before checking for an update. A smaller period of time is generally better, since when you make changes you want them to be noticed as soon as possible. You don't need to go back and make any changes to this once it's set up.
