URL Redirecting
I have undestood how to URL redirect a old html page to a new created page with the urlMappings tool as explained here
http://creators.ning.com/forum/topics/how-do-i-add-a-301-redirect
But it looks to work just on pages, I was unable to figure out how to do it with other kind of content.
Now I'm planning to redirect some .html named urls to new ning created groups, could any good soul please help me giving me a clue on how I must do that?
Thanks!
RB

No! But that can be donne, but instead of study how I opted to an easier solution for me.
In my case the groups are streets names at Copacabana, so I created a page as a main menu with all the street names/urls listed there and point all old html to that single page.
Maybe that works for U 2!

I experimented a bit with URL mapping based on what I had learned in this post: http://creators.ning.com/forum/topics/how-do-i-add-a-301-redirect where it talked about the ID:Page#. I found the ID/number in the forum code, but I couldn't get anything to work in URL mappings. I'll keeping digging into it and let you know if I find out anything more.
Thanks,
Jane
