I'd like to do something similar to the table function of a Yahoo group. I want to have a table with 5 or so columns for data, and I want members of the network to be able to add a row with their data, and ideally to be able to come back modify it later. Is there any free and easy way to do this?

Thanks!

yes... have you looked into Google Fusion Tables?

Thank you! I hadn't, but just did. That requires API programming, true? I'm on the lowest plan of Ning without API. And honestly I really don't know what API is. :). I looked at google docs forms, but that requires me manually publishing the chart (not a huge deal) and processing the certain stream of updates and changes (a much bigger deal). It's frustrating not to have something a free yahoo group has. Any other thoughts?

it truly depends on what you are trying to do...i may have some ideas but perhaps you could send me a message with your needs and i'll see what I can figure out for you based on that,....
