Want to add social buttons as links to the side of my home page ~

I'm interested in adding buttons  like Pinkessence.com has to my site... I don't want to share but  link to my facebook group, pinterest etc... not sure if this is Sharethis.com but I thought I saw a thread of how to do this and can't find it...anyone know? Thanks! M

Hi Melinda Orr,

Yes this is available through ShareThis. Here is the following tutorial on how to add it to your Ning Network:

1. Go to www.sharethis.com
2. Under "Get the Button" click "Get it now."

3. Under "Step 1. Platform" select "Website"

4. Under "Step 2. Style" select "Bars"

5. Under "Step 3." Add your services and then click "Finish Get the Code" in the lower right hand corner.

6. In the upper right hand corner click "No Thanks, just give me the code"

7.Copy the javascript from box 1. and past into the custom code area on your ning network. THEN copy box 2. and paste it in your custom code box on your ning network after the prior code.

8. Save and reload your network main page. It should load right up. :)

You may or may not be interested in this new system which allows you to create badges for your website... (beta testing right now).  You can see it on this website: http://mediacreations.co.nz/ on the right side.

It also has sharethis, built-in... but this system, has 2 levels of virality with embed and I am building a system which allows you to message all of your "Collectors".
