Ways to recover lost Features?

Hi,

The Photos and Videos features that we added to strongtowns.net have disappeared from our main page.  Does anyone have suggestions for how we might recover the features and their associated content?

In other Creators discussions, people have mentioned a My Pages link, but I can't find it, and I'm not sure that would even be the answer.

Hi Jen,

You can put Photo and Video content on the main page by going to your Features Layout page (My Network > Settings > Features Layout) and dragging the modules for them into the page layout. Let us know if you have any problems.

Hi Phil,

There are two hitches with that:

(1) I'm trying to recover the Photo and Video modules that we *had* and which have disappeared.

(2) The list of module options no longer appears. As I recall, they used to be located above the button that says "Drag here to delete." However, they are no longer there.

It's puzzling.

Hi Jen,

I suspect you might have some old javascript cached in your browser that's causing the second problem. You should try holding down the shift key and clicking the refresh button when you're on the Features Layout page, or if you have another browser, you may want to try that. Unless I'm misunderstanding, adding the Photos and Videos modules back via the Features Layout and saving will restore any content you had there. You might need to change the settings depending on how you were displaying things.
