We made this logo for the first time for our network and we were not satisfied with it.
After wards we changed the logo to this but still not satisfied.
Can you anyone suggest us which one is better? Or Can any one suggest us the different design which looks professional and better than these 2 ?
Best wishes

Sorry - here's my honest opinion - I don't really like either. The colours aren't pleasing together, and there seems to be no thought to the design. Letters in circles - why? What does that represent? A quick google search on Kanchenjunga brings up many images or motifs you could draw inspiration from. Why that (or those) fonts? Why those colours?
In my humble opinion this is why you can't decide between the two - because neither is really relevant to your network. Take a look around creators at some of the logos people have as their images. Google "great logos". Add me as a friend if you want more info from me, or want me to put some suggestions together for you, but there's plenty of information out there...
Sorry if I sound harsh, but you asked!

Permalink Reply by Speed Racer on August 23, 2011 at 2:52pm i like #2. Might i suggest a service called logonerds.com......Marshall mathers referred me to them, and I used them, am VERY pleased. Not only did they make me a very nice professional logo, they sent it to me in several formats for many uses. Here is what they made for me, i selected concept 2 and i love it. i've had tshirts and mugs made and purchased with it. Check out how I incorporated it into my network banner, friggin looks GREAT!
Permalink Reply by Chris on August 23, 2011 at 3:47pm Speed Racer's logo was one of the good examples I was thinking of. What's your network about Bernard? How would you symbolise it?

Hi Chris,
First of all, thanks for your opinion. Actually Kanchenjunga is situated between Nepal and India. You can find same kind of community in both the regions. So basically my network is a social networking site for them.
Permalink Reply by Chris on August 25, 2011 at 2:03am Great. Does Kanchenjunga have a flag, or other symbol of identity? (like the Scottish have a thistle). What's unique, or instantly recognisable about Kanchenjunga? (like a baguette would make you think of france?) What colours do you associate with Kanchenjunga and why? What alphabet do you use?

Well, it doesn't have any flag or symbol as of now...for identity, it is the third highest mountain in the world after Mount Everest. Kanchenjunga means "The Five Treasures of Snows", as it contains five peaks. The treasures represent the five repositories of God, which are gold, silver, gems, grain, and holy books. that's all about Kanchenjunga.
Permalink Reply by Chris on August 25, 2011 at 5:35am There's some great inspiration for a logo. How could you incorporate those 5 things into a symbol or design?

Design would be better I guess..
