On my profile questions during sign up, I have members check mark a talent or type of business they do so it categorizes them. However it has stopped working now. Now for some reason no one is listed except 2 people. Not sure why or what happened, but it was working fine yesterday?
Any thoughts? And yes I have submitted a support ticket, I kind of am hoping I am not the only one eeek!

I took a look at this and you don't currently appear to be connecting profile answers to categories. Your multiple choice question for talent, business etc allows multiple answers, and it would need to accept a single answer in order for that to put someone into a category.

Yesterday it was working for instance here: LINK you will see my mom listed,
however there are actually 5 of us in there yesterday.
Where BIZ Mamma is located a drop down menu will appear, and it had all of us in there for different things we do. Should I just change it to only ONE answer that they need? (We need?)

Right; if you change that profile question so that there can only be a single answer, then you'll get the options for connecting various answers to categories. We remove those options when you allow multiple answers since it would create collisions when trying to assign a category.

On this network here, they have the same thing I have, and they have multiple listings as well for one member. Just like we do, is it just my network doing this? Like I said yesterday all of us were listed under our talents if we had more than one, for instance I dabble in photography, and also sculpt, plus I am an herbalist. So I had Health and Nutrition, Photography and Crafts checked. I was listed in all three. Then this morning no one is listed but my mom on everything. Each one of her talents are listed, she has checked crafts, baby, mom, things like that.

They aren't automatically assigning members to categories based on that answer. If they're using member categories, they're assigning members to the categories manually.

They took the link, and put it as a page, just like I had. So they went to advanced search for members, and looked for photographers, then used that link, put it as a page. I did the same thing. Last night it was working.
I cannot figure out why my mom is listed and no one else is. She is on everything.
Here is what I did in steps to do all this:
Step 2
Step 2 is from your settings in your profile (we check mark it)
Here is step 3:
Which is advanced search (this is how I added the page)
Which gave me a URL link and I made that a page (like they did)
Step 4:
Prior 4 of us were listed: Then here is the URL I added for a page when I created a page.
Step 5:
Now is what I cannot figure out is why my mom comes up on everything, but no one else does. When we all did yesterday. I hope I am making sense and not frustrating you LOL. I am so sorry if I am!
Got it; sorry I didn't realize you weren't using Member Categories for this. This is probably a case of the search indexes that power the results there being a little behind; using this kind of mechanism there might be a 24 hour or so delay between when a member assigns themselves and when they show up in the results. If you're still not seeing the correct behavior for members who joined a day or two ago, please send us a support ticket.

Thank you SOOO much, I hope so, it was odd when it just stopped this morning. Well at least my mom looks like a talented girlie on the advanced searches LOL She comes up on every single one. I used to, until this morning.
I actually just did this all yesterday, I am building the network slowly. It's brand new (I am a newbie but learning!). So hopefully this will straighten out soon. I was the first to be listed, then my mom, then a few other members did it. It was fine until now. EEK!
Thank you again, I did submit a support ticket so hopefully it gets answered. I am sure they are bogged down with the email and rss not working.

I know it has nothing to do with Member categories and it seems like this has been solved but thought I'd throw this in here in case that was part of Amanda's problem
