Here's an easy question: The Latest Activity module is much more than that, it allows you and your members to post content, tweet, and share items to Facebook. I want to change the name of it so that members know that it's more than just a module that tracks all of their activity on my site. This is especially important to prospective members who like the ability to post content and comment inline as they're accustomed to on Facebook. I think it's a big draw.

Does anyone have any suggestions as to what I should rename the module?

Thanks.

Now that I think about it, I don't even know what instance in the Language Editor applies to the module. Ugh!

About finding/changing the text of the Latest Activity home page module, just search 'Latest Activity' in the Language Editor and simply change the text/field instance that exactly matches 'Latest Activity' (9th item down, I think..)

Hope that helps, Patrick.

9th item down. That's what I needed to know! Thanks Ron!

Would it kill Ning to make these things apparent?

You're welcome. I know, it's a bit tricky at first.

I use: "What's New?", and kinda fond of that. =)

Yes, nice idea Jen.

=) Simple, but right to the point. Thanks.

Thanks Jen. Yes, it is simple enough. Problem is, it doesn't imply to outsiders what they can do. I'm thinking maybe "Status Update". The problem with that module is there's nothing that suggests this is something they can use to send tweets and Facebook updates.

You could tailor "What's New" to be site specific according to your niche.  Like: What's Cooking?  (obviously a cooking site), What's Doing? What's the Buzz?  What's Popping?  etc.  Those may sound a little cheesy out of context, but on the right network, they would fit.

Thanks Diane.

Exactly. That's what I did. Ours is a site for garage rock and similar styles of rock'n'roll, so I chose "What's shakin'?" ;)

Hmmm. What's your site url, kopper? Sounds interesting. =)

Like I said in other responses, I need something that will suggest to non-members that the module is capable of sending tweets and Facebook statuses.
