What will be in the new roadmap? Just curious.

Yes 2012 is here. er doomsday isn't coming in December, is it?

I just keeping checking to see whether we have a new roadmap yet. One of the reasons is our plan to shut down one of our networks. But we are very curious about what's ahead before we hit the next annual pay date in June.

If you have read anything mentioned anywhere here about things to expect in the next roadmap please share.

People have brought up a bunch of good ideas, but I'm surprised no one mentioned something that affects everyone:

Every time someone shares a link from our sites, the URL shortener includes "Ning".

That affects all of us.

You are right and it is absolutely unnecessary to have a Ning stamp in all outgoing tweets for our networks. So although people thing Ning is white label, it is not.

Yes!!! Is very important to keep oul all Ning labels, from Tweets and also from PHOTO FULL SIZE !!!

Two wishes

1.  The ability to set up folders (protected folder option would be awesome).  At the moment uploading files to NING is a nightmare especially when uploading HTML files that link to pictures and sound. 

2.  The ability to silence naughty members who annoy other members.  This being an extra option to suspension.  Silencing a member until they realise that their actions are not acceptable, gives them a chance to continue to pariticipate in activities and gives them incentives to behave.  Suspension is more brutal and often counterproductive.   I have no problem deleting unwanted characters, but I alway prefer giving people a chance to evolve and behave.

Two very simple but important things: an automatic size limiter for the uploader!!! And when you enlarge a photo I'd like to see something like this (centered image and background color)
