What's the difference between a Note page and a Page?

I just don't understand the differences.

Please help.

But do we get email notification of comments left on either pages or notes? I have a vague memory that we didn't - at least in the distant past. Wondering if that has changed.

The owner of the page gets notified of comments.

And (contrary to what I said above) Notes do not have the comments option.

Update: Pages comments make it to the main activity feed.

Thats it Atheist Universe!

Thats why I use notes in my community now as a Community Help Area.

I will add notes about the community functions and help informations / FAQ's for the use of www.bikerhimmel.com and other main informations (about, goals, etc.).

In every BikerHimmel area i add "Help" links to notes which explain the side the user has opened.

News are added by members and me in blogs (because of the function to post blogs on my Facebook-, Twitter-Side, etc.).

Pages do I use to add many directory sides to one theme.

For example a Group Directories with links to "Relevant Groups".

This gives a clear structure...

Main themes on the BikerHimmel homepage:

Click opens a directory side with a table with further informations, photos, videos and links to groups, blogs, function areas (like video, eventcalendar, membermap, tourplanner, ...).
