One of my members used their mobile phone and the email given in their profile settings to send some pictures straight to the network.
However, the photos have not shown up on the website and seem to have disappeared into the virtual cloud between mobile phone and website.
Does the member need to do anything special to make them appear? Like confirm the upload or anything?
Thanks

Permalink Reply by Speed Racer on March 30, 2011 at 2:49am if you look at the mobile uploader address under settings, if it doesn't say your ning address (yoursite.ning.com) it's not going to work. Mine got changed to my url i bought from GoDadddy, and as soon as that change happened and appeared as the mobile upload address, anyone who tried to use it, it did not work for. put this code in your custom code box and it should work fine. replace yoursite in the code with it's proper names.
I know this isnt as desireable as you may like, but, it will prevent a nonworking mobile upload address from showing on member pages. The way I'm understanding it, unless you want to purchase email services from your registrar (Go Daddy charges 2.99 a month PER EMAIL ACCOUNT), this is the only way.
<script type="text/javascript">if (typeof(x$) != 'undefined') {var oldHref = x$('#xg_profiles_settings_email_show').attr('href');if (oldHref) {var oldValue = x$('#xg_profiles_settings_email_show').html();var newValue = oldValue.replace('yoursite.com','yoursite.ning.com');x$('#xg_profiles_settings_email_show').html(newValue);var newHref = oldHref.replace('yoursite.com','yoursite.ning.com');x$('#xg_profiles_settings_email_show').attr('href',newHref);}}</script>

I used your script above to get the ning.com url to show instead of our mapped domain but it still shows our mapped domain on this page - http://www.kitesports.co.za/photo/photo/newWithUploader. By modifying your script is it possible to substitute the mapped domain with the ning domain here too?
Regards,
Bruce
