Hi, I am new to the NING network, and I have some pending questions about videos and Ning. According to this article from NING 2.0: http://www.ning.com/help/?p=4820, NING creators can allow users to upload their own video content. As long as the video was under the 100mb limit and is a supported video file, users can "...use the bulk media uploader to add up to 30 videos at a time to your profile page..." or if the administrator of NING had a pro plan, the NING network "......comes with a branded video player widget". Unfortunately, I have yet to see neither of these options for NING 3.0 as the upload size for files is under 7mb, nor could I find the video player widget option in my NING mode media. So here is my questions regarding NING 3.0 and video uploading:
- Is the option to upload video files no longer in NING 3.0? Or, are these options still there and I have yet to look for them?
- Was there a video server that would house all the video uploads, and did the administrator's have access to those servers?
- Considering that someone's My NING network has uploaded video content from NING 2.0 and upgraded to NING 3.0, where would administrators find those uploaded video files that was stored in NING 2.0?
Any advice, help or clarification is much appreciated. Thank you.
