I just tried to sign up for NHacks and I have yet to receive the email confirmation link. I also am not getting notifications of responses to discussions I'm subscribed to here on Creators. Bernard commented on JFarrow's discussion, yet I received no email notification. Immediately after, J responded and I received an email notification.
What gives?

I have a Ning Pro plan (since Dec. 2012) and have been pleased with the phone and email support from the handful of tickets I've submitted.
The only frustration/exception has been realizing they are on California time, and so I must wait until their office hour times for phone help and for responses.
But the service has been prompt, detailed, and upfront for each of the questions I've submitted.

Permalink Reply by Judson Phillips on May 21, 2012 at 8:23am I have been on the NING pro plan since may 2009. Until two months ago, I would have rated myself as very satisfied with NING's service. My website is an essential part of my business and I cannot be sitting around, hoping it works.
The fastest and only real response I have ever gotten was Eric telling me he was deleting my posts because he did not tolerate rants on the site.
The messaging tools are absolutely ESSENTIAL to driving traffic to the site. This is a major problem and NING keeps acting like it is just something to be fixed when they feel like it.

Feel free to participate in this discussion here if you are seeing a new problem with notifications. Also, please share you ticket numbers with me, and I will be certain to get them to the right people, quicker than they might otherwise, if possible.
Judson: I don't think that is true. We respond to tickets, and I have responded to you. For example, here. I think I have asked you to not cross-post in unrelated discussions in the past and I have removed some of your posts that contained profanity. If you're angry, posting in as many discussions as possible to disrupt other conversations just isn't going to help people who have other things they want to talk about.

Permalink Reply by Patrick Chappelle on May 21, 2012 at 8:14am LOL I don't know what to tell you, Solo. I initially posted this here thinking it was a minor problem, and possibly only affecting me. I had no idea it was a widespread problem and that it would receive over 200 replies.
As far as getting quicker help, I can make a phone call quicker than I can compose, select a topic, add tags and save a discussion, and someone at Ning can answer the phone quicker than it takes for someone to discover my post and respond to it.
