Why Blogs not in Testing network

On my test network, the blogs features is not in the features layout

But when I go to network.com/profiles/blogs/list is there

I wanted to customize the blog features on the home page but now i can't because its not in the feature layout

That is correct. The blog feature isn't included in the test network environment. We do not explain that very well. We should. This was entered into our system as an improvement we need to make, but it hasn't happened yet. I am going to add your report to the list of reporters. I'm sorry this isn't more apparent, but I hope we can get it there soon.

Hi Eric,

Our community is discussing adding the blog feature but we noticed it wasn't available in the test network to mock-up before we go live. We found this post. Wondered if you had any updates on the status of adding blogs to the test network since it's been a few months.

We don't have that as part of the test network. To be honest, I don't think it will be added anytime soon.
