Why do I hate the way my site looks?

Hello fellow Ningaholics!!! So I've been sitting here looking at my site for a while, and I've come to the conclusion that I'm not really happy with it. I used to love it. Maybe I'm just so used to looking at it that I'm just bored with it. Does anyone else get that way? Anywho, my site is www.beerducate.com Take a look and please let me know if its just me or is it really the train wreck I think it is lol.

Nice colour palette apart from the black module headers but I'd lighten it a bit, design a proper logo, reduce the header and focus a bit more on your core modules. The wood theme works though so I'd keep that, just in a different form.

I'm with SP - go two stops lighter.

And add a backgroundColor to your background image.
On a wide screen - I use 1600px - it's white all around and it kills the effect.

It's not bad at all... (and yes, we all get that way).

• I agree with lightening it up a tad.
• Stretch your background image to fill the screen.

Add this to your advanced CSS (has your image)...

Forgot to mention that you should reduce the size of the header 1/3 to 1/2...like the others suggested.

Maybe make the module backgrounds a semitransparent image so you can see the bar in the background a little more instead of the solid color...
