I wanted to post this article to alert Ning that your platform is no longer in best shape. My networks have encountered most of the issues that others are also experiencing.

Any free platform can suddenly stopped you from uploading contents and disallowing others from signing up. Then after, it will allow you again to upload contents. It's like trying to control the size of the network.... maybe Ning has some hard time coping up with the size of the uploads since it correlates with the storage and that also translates to money?.

Right now, my networks here (5) of them will be out of business soon.
Thanks to the following issues:

1. Unable to sign up (Sometimes)
2. Unable to log out (Sometimes)
3. Cannot see that chat working properly
4. Cannot upload pictures
5. Cannot upload discussions
6. Cannot upload videos
7. Cannot edit pictures
8. Cannot edit videos
9. Cannot edit discussions
10.Spam, suddenly stops... that's good! Maybe the spammer is already tired lol..
11.Unable to edit text at home page since, I cannot see the edit option.
12.lastly, I cannot do anything...but write this article. I still have 8 more months to go after 3+ years on Ning.

What are the terms I'm really expecting from Ning?

1. I expect them to deliver to their promises
2. I expect them to have an stable platform since the agreement was, we pay them accordingly and they will deliver the services
3. I expect them to inform us of any sudden outages
4. I expect them to answer the above questions on why Ning behaves like a FREE platform.

Anyway, above all to be fair with Ning, for the past 3 years I don't have much issues under real Ning, the services are superb!!.

Most of the issues only came out after the Glam Media integration and acquisition.

What's wrong? I cannot even edit my networks. The service is really getting into bad shape. I'm TRAP! The feeling of disappointment is very high.

I'm suggesting that Ning gives members discount for every unstable service. The payment is a package and that counts daily if you pay annually.

We are counting on the package vs the service rendered and if you can't deliver it properly then you "Ning" must compensate.

I totally agree with you Analiza. Ning is becoming something else. Poor service, no replies to problems or suggestions. Too much spam, High charges and no service. Platform not improving to allow us to compete on social networking market. Most applications are third party and they come with a cost and not working, nothing of their own. I think they need to put a bit more effort than just collecting money

This a good piece to push ning to live up to expectation. I cant believe i got less than 50 visits for a network on 1600plus for the past 3 days......i definately think something is wrong somewhere.

I wish i could ask ning to give us a compensation for this performance but that definately wont make up for our losses.NIng all we ask is please get things working asap.....this is Simple and not asking for too much.....after all we paid for the service.

I rest my case.

Hey, Analiza. We have seen some issues with CSS and Javascript not loading correctly for some people. We have our team looking into it. I would say that most of the issues you are reporting are related to this. I'll be sure to send your report to the highest levels. Hope we can get this fixed for you. 

3. I expect them to inform us of any sudden outages

One thing to note is that we do this immediately with the Ning Status blog. I would definitely check there anytime you have questions about the platform.
