Permalink Reply by Cuba on August 18, 2011 at 12:34pm We are a private dog social site and we will use money collected for our foster dog, who we sponsor monthly through the North Shore Animal League. He has very high medical bills. We also support 3-4 different shelters and dog charities each year.
In addition we have an annual meetup once a year in a different city for4 days. Of course some of our members can not afford to travel with their dog for a 4 day vacation, so we are planning to have a drawing for one member each year and they will win a paid trip to our annual meetup.

Permalink Reply by Simon Hodgson (Mouse) on August 18, 2011 at 2:10pm Hiya!
In a nutshell I plan to set up an information site for Chefs/Personal Chefs that will attempt to break the stranglehold that recruitment agencies now have on the Industry.
I want to charge those who have jobs available a fraction of what they would pay to an agency and at the same time charge the jobseekers the same small amount in order to demonstrate their sincerity.
Don't want to give too much away but happy to go through details in private...
Thanks.

I have a private Group: "VIP Club for Jen's Premium Ning Tips", where I offer special Ning Tips and Ning Support. The Group has been a smashing success, in more ways than one. Most importantly, it's a lot of fun! It's a very active group, and almost it's own little Social Community. The members are awesome - - they're top-notch professionals serious about their Networks. They're gracious, and kind, and helpful. They don't just ask questions, they help me answer questions. I never expected that icing on the cake. This is by far my favorite Social Networking experience of all times.
Currently I use a PayPal button for the yearly membership subscription. I can't wait to get started with the Paid Access plan. My dilemma is finding the time to work with Ning (hopefully), and figuring out the best process for migrating the existing 160+ members to the Paid Access module. Truly, I can't wait!
Good luck to everyone out there who takes advantage of the Paid Access module!

Been waiting for Paid Access for long time.
We are a User Group (The SPICE User Group) www.spiceusergroup.org which supports the development and takeup of an international standard. The SPICE User Group cannot collect fees by physical means as its members are scattered virtually across 50 countries of the world. We would use fees for special pages which would provide free additional guidelines. We need to charge as minimal fee as possible as some members are in low cost countries and US10 is a lot of money.
I started using paid access to

To encourage people to invite their friends, I am offering them a free month for them and the friend that they invite when the friend joins. If they have already purchased a lifetime membership, they can give their free month to a friend.
Permalink Reply by Lisa on August 18, 2011 at 3:12pm We plan on the possibility of charging for an "Access All Areas" add on that will give access to an extensive archive of over 150 (increasing each week they run for) of support call recording downloads. These have been collected over time and are each a one off and varied with some top class coaches and trainers participating worldwide. The idea we have is to be on the calls live ( and forum of course ) will continue to be free, but access to the existing archive backlog will be paid for.
Thats the basis of the idea so far - fingers crossed!
Permalink Reply by Joe on August 18, 2011 at 3:35pm I have a group converted into a market
I gave a read access to everyone by setting the group as public and paid access for those that want to post by putting the group after a paywall
so sellers pay to join the group (to open selling topics)
and buyers can then see the selling topics without having to join the group (and pay) and if interested in the items being sold will contact the seller
since sellers are earning some money they dont mind paying the fee
