there are scripts that act like plugins that do that i cant remember the site but i was trying to do that on my splash page but it wouldnt work there  well not like i wanted i wanted php code wich will make the page constantly updated this is java code wi\ch search engines ignore

look up rss feed slider or something along those lines

Ok might have found it. I used FireBug and found a reference. Here is a Google search for it.
