I want to create a new page (Video Auditions Page) for a contest that I'm having. However, I can't seem to get the videos when the Iframe embed code is added to the Html editor of the created page, to act right...and align, and space evenly, sometimes the added video dosen;t show up even after reloading the page. I also want this new page to act JUST LIKE the Ning Default video page, when you can Upload videos using the same code in the default, directly on the New Video Auditions page. That way members can upload their own videos and they line up like the default page does, and I don't have to keep tinkering with the code/spacing trying effortlessly to fix, what cannot be easily fixed because of Nings default setting. Does ANYONE know if the default video/music uploads page, and be used on another page to upload videos/music to the new page, and NOT have them interfere with the default videos/music pages. Is this possible? If so this is an example shared with me from a friend and fellow NC Riccardo, on what it should look like if a Table were used, which I have the code for already. How do you link Videos fro inside of a Table, like you do Photos, and have them play on another page like in the Ning default. REMEMBER>>I DON'T want to just upload thru the Ning Default Videos/Music Pages, I want to UPLOAD on a NEWLY Created Page and have the same functionality as the default pages. I hope I was clear enough for someone to help me accomplish this task, because I know it can be done. Thanks NC's, Blessings.-Pastor G.

Here's the link:

http://www.fotografiapuntodincontro.com/page/osea-costantini-tutorial The 1st page you get to with all the videos on it, I want to achieve this look, but on a new page, and not through the default uploads page.

Hey Pastor.

It's impossible to upload videos to pages period, since there is no uploader built into the pages feature, and only you can embed videos into the page, your members can not.

Riccardo's site is impressive. I wish I could help you with that, though I might if I knew what the table code looked like. There should be a line in the code to place the video url or embed code.

Patrick, I tried to add the url to the src=in the table where the image went, and it didn't work. I thought it might have been because the videos are not uploaded to my network. I'm gathering them from around the web. I want them to display in the invisible table, but I want them to play right there. Here's the table code I'm using. i want videos instead of the photos.

I was just taking a stab in the dark, I've never used tables. Soaringeagle's advice seems valid, though. If anyone knows, it's him.

you are goingto have to use the vids embed codes just like you add videos to your videos from youtube using the embed codes the same embed codes can be used directly in the page

im not sure about u0ploading on the page  i dont think thats possible without some serous hacking but the 1 issue can be solved by using the <embed> not <iframes> code

iframes is still lil buggy

and as far as the sizing gi=oes wrap the video  area in a div with a class like <div class="vidsize">allvid embeds go here</div> then in css use

div.vidsize embed {width:200px;height:150px;} (or the size you want them to conform too) but be aware that that will distort some that have diferent aspect ratios
