Isn't that the same thing? After all here is the group description 

This group is for Ning Creators who have found something on another Ning site and would like to know how its accomplished.

In your posts, place a link to a page on another Ning network that has something that you want on yours, then place a link to yours. Someone on the Creators Forum should come along and offer to help with your request or respond with a price that they would charge to code it for you.

I appreciate J setting up this group, but I'm out. It's turn into a "how do I do this", rather than for what it was created for ("how did you do that").

ok i tried that link code inthe group description and an odd thing happened i could see the background in the visial editor but didnt work when saved i then added the link to a textbox and wala worked perfectly and ..very cool design too

ok assumming your background image is where  the css codesays it is (cot the best idea to be making an http request to an outside server its better to upload the bacground to the ning api thriugh the filemanager) but assuming that the image exists there what you want to do is the topmost textbox or group description  edit it click html

at the very top line 1 paste the code in groupstyle.txt and save (without going back to visual mode save while still in html)  reload the page

did it work/

tip the sooner it sees that code when loading the page the sooner the style takes effect thats why you want it as high on the page as possible)
