Hi All,

Earlier today we released a few mobile updates. Here's what's new:

Member listing and Profile pages

You can now create a Members page in the Mobile section of your dashboard to list your members and allow them to be searched. Members also have profile pages with profile answers and a comment wall.

Photo Swiping

Navigate to see next and previous photos in the photos section by swiping left and right.

Updates to Liking

We've made the Like action happen when you click the like icon, and have added a section in detail pages where you can see a list of people who have liked an item.

Self-Serve Opt-in

If you're not running the alpha on your network but want to try it out, you can turn it on yourself. Just visit:

http://yournetwork.com/main/admin/setMobileVersion
(replace yournetwork.com with the address for your network. Select Mobile 2.0 instead of Mobile 1.0 in the dropdown and click Update Mobile Version.

We're working towards graduating the alpha to Ning Labs, and would love your feedback on what we've built so far.

background color can be changed right/ just go to the mobile settings in the dashboard

Thanks, but the only option I see under blogs for mobile settings in the dashboard is a dropdown list of which blogs to display.  The design tab has a color picker but just for the header background.  I must be missing something.

You can change the header but not all of the design details.

1 member reported photos load very very slow

her phone is a HTC 4g evo with google search

another member using android opera mobile reported he cant cancle out of chat to view other pages?

thats not good

and 1 other said she cant get the chat to pop up

so looks like theres a conflict with chat

It looks like hits via mobile on lets say a blog or photo are not registered in the desktop counter? Is this right?

I noticed that if you go to the roadmap the tab desktop view is gone.

Great updates, advert/textbox at bottom, please Phil

Hi. Thanks for the ongoing updates. Just a bit of feedback from what I've experienced so far.

Photo viewing is not working very well on my Blackberry Bold 9780. When I click on a photo in the grid view, I keep getting a message that pops up about resubmitting data for form view (see screenshot attached - 1.png).

Photo Swiping is not working. There is no way to navigate from one photo to next once you've opened a photo. You have to hit the 'back' or 'escape' button to step back, and that is not working well either because sometimes it takes me back to the grid view and sometimes it takes me back to the first individual photo I viewed with the resubmit data msg. and once it's done that the only way I can get back to photos is to use the dropdown list again.

My network name is also being cut off slightly along the top edge (see screenshot attached - 2.png).

Hey, thanks Bruce. These are reports I'm not sure our team is aware of, so this is very helpful.
