New Release: 9 May

Hi all,

A few minutes ago we updated the mobile alpha with these features:

The ability for signed in members to add blog posts.
The ability for signed in members using Android 4 devices to upload photos (we'll be including support for additional devices that have this capability in the next release).
An option in the Mobile Management section to create a My Page menu entry for signed in members to visit their own profile page.
Additional filtering options in the Members page type so that you can display featured members or members in a specific category.

We also removed the ability for Mini networks to create html type mobile pages, since they don't have this ability in their networks.

Please continue to provide feedback; it's helping us shape the mobile offering, and in addition to working on remaining basic functions (like deletion of comments and posts), we have some exciting features coming up.

You can see from the attached screenshot that there's not much wiggle room to choose a menu option...

Just an idea: In the following picture are the layouts available for the menu when creating a mobile app in Conduit Mobile. The last one may be a good choice for this amount of items, it could open in the same semi-tranparent overlay that is opening today in the alpha release but in a better layout with larger buttons for the accessibility by touch:

I agree.

I think the menu should pop up and take up the entire screen.

We need to make this finger friendly. :)

Hi I like the idea of "add to home screen" I believe this should be added for all major mobile devices iphone, blackberry, android and windows mobile. There should be a way for members to add network bookmark to homescreen of the a mobile devices.

My drop down menu button has disappeared on my Sammy Galaxy SII:

Also, maybe we could change it so that it's more intuitve to use. Forbes do a good one, calling it Sections with an arrow:

Did you notice the ads on Forbes? :-)

Hi SP,

Hmm; it's showing up for me on my Galaxy 2S. I think the menu has to be an icon so that it can accomodate network names of varying lengths, but we'll check into the arrow.

You don't have the refresh icon either. Can you close your browser app and reopen and try again?
