Broadcast Frequency

How often to you broadcast to your members? Are there lessons you have learned from communicating too much or too little? Have you ever been accused of spamming your network? Are you able to notice the response to your Broadcast News? :D So like that crazy dude asked Dan Rather. "What's the frequency?"

I was sending one message every Thursday .. but stopped...I just don't have enough time to keep it up.. I got a good reaction from members. The pages views went up ..and was never accused of spam. I also have a link to the email settings for each member under the profile tab so it is visible for members to update or change

the weekly news update on the site, to all members,
usually sends weekend news, we've never been accused of spam, and we are always willing to help each member ;)

Three times a week, roughly every other day. I then cut it down to once a week, unless there was some other item I thought pertinent enough to broadcast.

I'd like to send broadcasts every other week, but find it challenging to get myself organized to do that.  Maybe it's because I try to be a perfectionist about it.

I try to send out a weekly broadcast, but that doesn't always happen.

I agree.  Sometimes there's nothing new & exciting and it makes no sense to send out a broadcast.

me too, i only broadcast if i have something interesting to share with everyone in my network.
