Descriptions in forum categories.

My forums acts like "locations" in a digital world. I was wondering if there was a way to make the descriptions for the categories show up on the forum list itself, for that respective category. Continue

This is going to sound really odd, since my network isn't exactly common.I'm in need of a random weather generator for my site. Preferably something that I can set a timer on for the weather change.…Continue

RPN: network your fandom

Call me Cyto. I'm a graphic artist gone rouge. By that I mean, I get the privilege of working for and by myself.

I'm commissioning my work out to Ning members, to help strengthen the communities. I believe art is a voice, and what you say is being seen.

If you are interested in learning more about visual representations and how your graphics can effect your members, feel free to contact me.

That's interesting. I tried putting up a simulated "Member Services" account on FB years ago. That's one of the neat things about having a custom network- you can be whoever or whatever you want. FB doesn't see that as a good fit with their concept, but there's also merit to the idea you could see with games such as Mob Wars. -A

What's this! A role playing network? What a cool idea!

Did a little searching and found your site. I think what you are doing with your Ning is pretty innovative, and the direction you say it is evolving toward sounds dynamic.

I have a Ning Creator group you are welcome to start a discussion about your site on http://creators.ning.com/group/a-social-media-dojo. Like I said, I think it's real interesting. For instance, I didn't know what "Fandom" meant until I looked it up, but I guess it's understood in alot of online sub-cultures like role playing.

I explore a lot of Ning sites, but using it as sort of a virtual world seems like a fnatastic concept. Keep up the great work!

Best,

Anthony
