Greeting to all of you who are constantly using our Creators site!

Here comes the big surprise that was recently mentioned by our team.
We're extremely excited to announce one of our most wanted Audio feature for 3.0 users. As of now you can share audio tracks with your members, upload audio lessons and podcasts, create playlists and make necessary organizational changes of the content on your network. It should assist you to popularize your site and to attract brand new audience. Please check our article here on how to work with this feature.

    Now this is awesome!!! Now we need more memory for our ning networks. Also loading time is every slow.

      Hi there!

      We are right now in the process of changing of the CDN provider, as teh previous hasn't performed well, it should increase the loading speed of the networks slightly.

      However, I have run teh test of your network using Pingdom speed test tool https://tools.pingdom.com/#!/s6aGK/http://www.brainwavefusion.com, and it appears that mostly the delay in loading is caused by the 3-rd party adds, embedded videos etc, please check the link to the speed test tool to see if it's possible to reduce the number of embeds and scripts somehow, as maybe there is something that you are not using anymore but it still mentioned somewhere on teh page.

    Where do I go to add this? I don't see it as an option. I also dont see an option for polls. Are they built into the forum?

      Hi there!

      I have checked and the audio module and the Polls are activated on your network (by activated I have meant that you are able to use them). Please open Site and Pages, press Add a page, and choose music or polls from the page type, and don't forget to save the changes when the page is complete.

        Hello Kyryl!

        i would like to know if  members may share theirs tracks with others members, also if this new  version has the option to show our playlist on profile page like the Audio Feature on Ning 2 .

          Hi, Javier!

          No, unfortunately, members of the network are not able to upload their tracks using the Music feature, only network creators and admins can. As I know such decision has been made in order to reduce the amount of DMCA notices that we might receive regarding the pirated content uploaded on our servers, based on the experience from Ning 2.0 there were quite a lot of them. However, we have in the plans for MRS(member ranking system) to add the achievement that would allow member to upload the music on the network as well. Such approach of course wouldn't remove the issue with DMCA notices but would give network creators more control over files uploaded.

          Regarding the ability to add music module or specific play lists to the pages, there is no option that would allow you to do so, of course you can use the costume code for this purpose, but I do understand that it's not a solution for many network creators, so I have posted the suggestion to change the Audio feature so it could be posted as the module on other pages, I hope that management would find it useful and decide to implement something like that on 3.0.
