End of Year Progress Report

As 2016 comes to a close, we wanted to take a moment to share some of our progress over the last few months.  

Stability
Our Engineering and Operations teams have had their heads down working to resolve the underlying causes of recent platform instability.  As a result, you’ve probably noticed fewer 500 errors and accessibility issues.  We’re dedicated to continuing to improve up-time in the coming year.

Billing & Technical Support
We’ve been hard at work making improvements to your support experience, as well.  You’ll likely remember from years past that our technical support winds down a bit around the holidays. However, this year, we’re ramping up our support!  We’ve added new in-house Community Advocates to our team, which has allowed us to increase our presence here on Creators and in our social channels.  We’re also pleased to announce that we’ve expanded our hours to provide 'round the clock support from here on out!  With 24/7 billing and technical support, you can contact us whenever is most convenient for you!

Bug Backlog
We’ve started working on the bug backlog and are making progress.  We’ll continue working through known issues in the new year.  Networks affected by open issues will continue to be contacted as they are resolved.

New Features
While we’ve released a few small updates so far, our focus the past few months has been on platform stability and support.  We look forward to bringing you more updates big and small in the new year!

Thank you for sticking with us and your continued loyalty.  We look forward to a lot fewer posts thanking you for your patience and a lot more introducing new features in 2017!  Stay tuned for more updates in the new year, and Happy Holidays from all of us here at Ning!

  • Activity Feed issues plaguing us (www.navydads.com) since 17 January and continue....if I try to submit a ticket all I get is an OOPS page saying I should email "support@ning.com" which I have done multiple times with no response....what's going on?

    The following issues are upsetting us in www.iconada.tv these two days, I am not sure whether here is the right place to seek for your advice:


    1. Some of our blog articles approved long ago returned to the Moderation Page again. At the same time, the same piece of article appeared in blog section page as approved & accessible to all readers

    2. The first 50 latest blog articles uploaded or set to be approved, which should be appeared at the Moderation Page No 1, gone missing.

    3. It happens by itself, not caused by any editorial error or bloggers' own action

    4. The latest activities notice on our front page do not show up properly, delayed by a few days sometimes. 


    This phenomenon is costly to us both in terms of credibility and editorial efforts.


    Please kindly help look into the matters and fix them for us.

    • I know the Activity Feed issue was supposed reported and was being investigated however I highly recommend you file tickets on this and ALL of your problems to Ning.  Posting in the forums is great for design assistance but 'back end' issues need to be addressed directly to Ning via ticket.  I hope it's addressed quickly for you.

  • Several steps in the right direction since the Mode Media fiasco came to an end. Communication improved 10000000%

    Good work, Noosphere crew and management, at knocking down a giant pile of issues ignored and accumulated over several years by the previous owners.

      Yes that's true that there weren't a lot of features released. The main priority for this moment is to make the stable platform that would be able to handle new things that we would like to implement.
