Dear Network Creator or Network Manager,

NING is implementing changes in its social authorization service. In order to ensure its correct operation on your network, your involvement is required.

The following changes must be applied before October 11, 2019

Please follow these instructions to maintain the ability to log in to your network using social accounts:

Check which social services you are currently using for social Sign Up & Sign In on your network.

For NING 2.0 users:

Open the admin panel and go to Members - Sign up / Sign in

Checkboxes indicate which services need to be reconfigured. Please note that Yahoo! and the service with the name of your network do not require any changes.

    • Hello!

I am sorry, I made a mistake in my previous reply, I meant it i snot possible to appoint multiple levels of moderators at this moment. You can only use the administrator`s role.

      Best regards,

      The NING Team

    • Hi there!

You are viewing the Help Center for 2.0 platform. Unfortunately, we do not have a moderation role on our 3.0 platform yet, so it is not possible to appoint multiple levels of membership at this moment.

      Best regards,

      The NING Team

  •  Not able to sign in with Twitter. I went step by step and I get this message:

A problem occurred while contacting the service provider.

    I still can't sign up.

I did notice that under your Twitter directions it shows at the "Website URL (Required)" you have "https://www.network.nin". Was that supposed to be "https://www.network.ning"? Either way it still doesn't work. Please help.

    www.Surfer-Shot.com

    • Hi Scott!

We are still working on the social sign-in/up functionality, and the maintenance can last till October 16th while we are monitoring the systems.

Please go through all the steps described in the instruction to set up an app and it will start working at the beginning of next week.

Regarding the required website URL - you should put SurferShot.ning.com

      Best regards,

      The NING Team
