At Ning, we pay precise attention to our users’ expectations and appreciate their patience. As meeting our customers’ needs remains our priority, we are happy to announce the release of the Search option on Ning 3.0. The functionality is similar to that on the 2.0 platform. This update is here to provide you with the opportunity to easily navigate your network.

With this release, you can search for any content – blogs, video, forum, members, and more - on your Ning Network quickly and easily. As always, you have the possibility to search for any content type. Items matching your search query will be returned in the network search results. The long-awaited Search option is aimed to ensure that Ning users receive the most relevant information.

As always, we are doing our best to offer the most relevant solutions, and we hope you enjoy these updates!

If anyone is interested if you want to do an off-grid search of your network (or any site) it's easy.

Use this method:

[keyword of keywords separated with a space] site:http://www.[address]

try this:

search site:https://creators.ning.com/

One recommendation is the advanced search filter like 2.0. This will allow for a great compliment to what we are using.

  Yes, the advanced search is very important is a social community.
  
  When they said they were working on a better version I thought it would be a better advanced search like 2.0 .However, this it is not better than the old one. With so much information on social platforms you need a modern search engine with filters to find for something specific.
