3.0 Tip: Insert Image Into Signin Page

I have been remaking an old network on 3.0 and wanted to add some more style to the signup and signin pages. This tip will insert an image above the normal stuff and a few small tweaks to your network info. Animated GIFs look good too. I'm also working on the ability to insert a div and play videos instead of pictures... when I get a minute.

Add the code below to your CSS, and adjust to your needs.

Enjoy :)

    • Hi there!

Thank you for letting us know about the issue. I`ve passed this query to Kyryl, so he will contact you once he checks the code.

Please let us know if you have any questions in the meantime.

      Best regards,

      Anastasia

    • Hi there!

Yep, this tip won't be working anymore, as the sign-up/sign in pages were redesigned and teh new classes are now used, there. So it;'s necessary to make some changes top this tip to make it work as it was before.

      Best regards,

      Ning team.

      • Oh ok :( Is it possiable you can make a new code for us?

        • Hi there!

As you may notice, the sign in/up page now looks quite different now, so could you please specify, do you wish to change it with the code completely to the old version, or just place the picture? If the second one, please provide us with the screenshot of your sign in/up page and outline the place where you wish the picture to be.

          Looking forward to your reply!

          Best regards,

          The NING Team

          • Hi there. we can do the second one. I took a screen shot where I will like the picture to be.

            • Hi there!

I`ve passed your screenshot to Alex, the code will be corrected in the nearest future. You will receive an email once it's done.

Please let us know if you have any questions in the meantime.

              Best regards,

              The NING Team

              • Yay!!!! Oh one more thing. Can I add random line of members with their sexuality and their location underneath the picture and they can choose if they want to be on front of the page or not.

                • Hi there!

                  Thank you for your patience!

You have already contacted us via LiveChat, but I will leave the code here in the comments anyway in case someone else wants to have it as well.

Regarding your question - I am afraid I can`t be 100% certain and answer you right away. Once Kyryl comes back from vacation he will check your request and get in touch with you.

                  Best regards,

                  The NING Team
