Maybe I could if I were a coder, but with the standard tools, I cannot do this. And if I include an image, odd text pops up when open the email. Like:</p><p> Relocate button to add photos. This is a problem, looklikes it were designed to create a bad impression, It's very serious, and I've noticed that every Ning user has asked for it for years. How hard is it to put the button in the correct place? On the user page like any social network? Can't you understand that is not intuitive, and we are losing engagement of our users? People don;t come back where they feel lost.</p><p> Members complain and are not posting anymore. If they do not post, my business is over. Couse, the only thing a photographer has to show, is his work and he can not find the button to do it. Is it hard to understand why it's not fixed. Don't you care about?</p><p>The ranking system is great and powerful. But it is not possible to limit the number of photos the user posts. This makes it impossible for us to use. A member can get 10,000 points in 10 minutes. Makes the network owner look silly, silly. How could you give a prize to the first in the ranking? It means nothing to be the first. What a waste of great tool?<br/><br/>The only thing a user can do is LIKE a photo. All network is about getting "LIKES" We have the worse like button on the earth, and it far away form the photo. Again is hard to understan. We need more than one like options ( thumbs up, thumbs down and so on ) Every network has 5 otions to show how user feels about the photo. We have one and it's far away. "kind Hidden." </p><p> The layouts of website designs are ugly and outdated. Alignment of the photo page is all wrong. We always have to correct with codes, that are sometimes provided by Ning yourself. Why not fix it definitively? Most Ning users 80% have layouts seem to have been made in "Word" or "Paint". But Ning.com website shows a good layout and says we have several options to use. All limited to no beauty at all</p><p> There are several other little things. Exemple: I would like to charge use a member ship access, with the new tools. But my users only give me the feedbacks Kind of, there is a lot to fix, the site still seems a bit strange. <p>To remove the Social Share and Like buttons, do the following:</p>
<p>1. From your Custom Page, click the "<span style="color: #808080;">Option</span>" button in the top right corner, and then select "edit"</p>
<p>2. Scroll to the bottom of the page and put a Check Mark in the option that says:<br />
<span style="color: #999999;">Meta:  Manage title and meta tags manually (advanced)</span></p>
<p>3. Insert the following code into the box that says "<span style="color: #999999;">Custom</span>"</p>

<p>I dont post much but I have a question for all of you so I can better understand how to help my customers and grow.</p>

<p>Please ignore the load time..it will take a time to load because the customer had me add all these scripts and HTML and flash stuff to the site even though I told her it would make it difficult in some cases and some computers to load fast.  Anyway, The design is complete..has been for days but the customer is constantly emailing me with tech issues and questions.  I have given her the websites to go to to figure these things out as well as sent her detailed emails with tech help..most of the time time, tech help is just telling her to READ the directions on the sign up section and letting people know that they have to click the link right away and then go to the ning site as soon as this is done.</p>
<p>I was wondering..if she is not paying me to be an admin of the site, how much responsibility do you feel I should take upon myself?  Her network already has WAY more ppl in just two days than most of my other networks have gotten in a months time. Its growing and the more people..the more times she emails me for help.  Its always a log in or loading issues mostly as well as asking for help with marketing her network. </p>
<p>How much help do you give people when you are only paid to design the network?  I do a 40 min. tutorial session to go over the ends and outs at no charge..</p>
<p>What do you guys do and how do you keep it from all getting out of hand?</p>
<p>I would appreciate any of your responses on this..I really want to judge what I should or should not be doing.</p>

But, I thought this should be shared now.<br> <br> When a member of your Social Network asks you a question, how do you handle your answer?</p>
<ul>
<li>Do you answer them at all?</li>
<li>Do you answer them in a timely manner?</li>
<li>Do you think it through, before you answer?</li>
<li>And most importantly, if you do answer them, do you talk to them like they’re an idiot? Are you condescending or dismissive?</li>

<p><br> <span style="font-weight: bold;">I ask a Support Question. I receive an answer.</span> The Support Person assumes that I know nothing. From the overall "best practices" of a help desk, this is actually okay. Because it means the Support Person is covering all bases, regardless of the knowledge level of the person asking the question.<br> <br> <span style="font-weight: bold;">What’s not okay?</span> <span style="font-weight: bold;">And, this is a huge pet peeve of mine.</span> If they answer you and make suggestions as if:</p>
<ul>
<li>You should know the answer.</li>
<li>You shouldn't ask such a dumb question in the first place.</li>
<li>You don’t have a brain and never thought of their awesome suggestion.</li>
<li>You don’t know how to turn on a computer.</li>
<li>You are 10 years old.</li>
<li>Or the worst - - you're too old to breath their <span style="font-style: italic;">Technologically Enhanced Air</span>. After all, they were conceived over a web-cam. This one is absurd, but so true. Some younger Support People assume everyone who asks a question, must be old and living in a cave. So, Help Desk Managers if you're reading this, watch for this issue.</li>
</ul>
<p><br> <span style="font-weight: bold;">Get the drift?</span> When you answer a support question, <span style="font-weight: bold;">stop and think</span> before you hit the reply button.<br> <br> <span style="font-weight: bold;">Let’s give some examples:</span><br> <span style="font-weight: bold;"><br> Support Question:</span> My Profile Page is flickering, and I can’t do anything. What’s wrong?</p>

<ul>
<li>You have answered your member’s question, or at least gotten the conversation moving towards a solution to the issue at hand.</li>
<li>You haven’t insulted their intelligence, just in case they know how to capture a screen.</li>
<li>And, they’ll feel you’re on top of things, and moving forward to help them with a resolution.</li>
<li>As part of this discussion, Jon Malmo brought up an excellent point, and I totally agree. I think in most cases, the person answering the question has no idea they have possibly insulted or seemed condescending to the person who asked. This is why we all need to stop and think, before clicking SEND.</li>
</ul>
<p><br> I've actually used a "real" example I experienced, with the screen capture answer. My answer is sure not perfect, just an example. In fact, I can guarantee you, I have messed up more than once. Sometimes I receive so many questions, it can become overwhelming.<br> <br> <span style="font-weight: bold;">Couple of more thoughts...</span> Since I can sure relate to this one. This is especially for Social Network Creators: I'm not suggesting you answer all questions. Sometimes it's simply not possible. And, I'm not suggesting you answer questions for free, that have nothing to do with your member's experience on your site.
