Current status of the Ning Platform is always available on the Ning Status Blog.

Is there a way to re-locate the Social Share options and Like Button to Bottom of Post?

Usually, someone reads then decides if they want to share or Like. I didn't locate anything in search.

Thanks.

            • If you need that done contact TJ on here he will have it ready in minutes

        • Actually, now I see these sharing options are on every peice of content, such as HTML boxes and images in my sidebar.

          Is there a way to limit this to only where it was showing before, such as blog posts? These other content boxes weren't displaying them.

          Thanks.

          • In such case this one will work only for the opened blog:

            <script>

            if(x$(".blogDetailPage")){x$(".entry-content.cf").after(x$(".socialActions.cf"));}

            </script>

            Unless you are using something with the class .blogDetailPage in your HTML boxes.

            Best wishes,

            Ning Team.

            • Thx. I have added and cleared cache. However, the sharing still shows in sidebar html blocks as previously shared.

              I am removing for now until we can resolve it. thx.

              • Well in such case could you please share the link to the page from your last screen shot, so I could see why it's getting displayed there, and then it would be easier to gain the necessary result

                • Going offline for a long while. I already shared a shot. Please go into my network to test it. Thx.
                  • I think that would be the last version:

                    <script>

                    x$(".blogDetailPage-mainSection.sheet.grid-frame > .entry-content.cf").after(x$(".blogDetailPage-mainSection.sheet.grid-frame > .socialActions.cf"));

                    </script>

                    Best regards,

                    Ning Team.

                    P.S. Tested in console on the page you have mentioned on the screenshot, this code doesn't place share buttons in the HTML box.

                    • Yes! This appears to be the case, now. Much thanks.
