This is a tricky question. The goal of any activity in your social media account or a social network website is indeed to get more new members and develop your relationship with them.
However, it is not enough to "collect souls", people come to social media for communicating, not only for observing. New people are welcome - but, obviously, they need time to understand how your business can be useful for them. Current costumers more often ask questions, tell you about problems and other points that are usually desired to be solved IMMEDIATELY.
The way you treat people in your social media, the same they think about your whole business or company. Always remember about it! So, here it is: your main task is not only to do everything to get more and more people in your network or in a social media page, but also to chat with them later and react at their requests quickly. For this, invite moderators or administrators to your NING network or any other social media accounts.
