After a stormy career as a rock drummer, travelling Europe with several Dutch bands, I ‘calmed down’ and started working as a new media specialist. From the early years of the Internet I worked on projects that changed the media landscape. Now operating as editor in chief and concept maker on multi media projects. In 2006 we won the Prix Italia with the Kassa website; a multi media and cross media project that reaches more than one and a half million people a month. Including a vast community of 100.000 people visiting Kassa on a daily basis. Since 2007 I advise other public broadcasters in several European countries on the possibilities of building multi media projects involving communities. 2010 started with several new projects: a series of mini documentaries, social media projects involving Ning and a succesful event of pushing free tap water in restaurants
