I'm a member of zbstaff.ning.com and creator of thetrollcabal.ning.com. I created thetrollcabal because a group of us on a chat site grew to really enjoy each others' company and we wanted to be able to share more personally as a group than what we could on our chat site. Although we don't use the ning all the time (we call it the fridge, as in, this is where we can post pix), we recently used ning quite heavily when our regular chat site was down for over a week.
