I am a police K9 handler and President of an organization founded 5 years ago titled the Working K9 Association of Central Pennsylvania (WKACP). WKACP is a group of dog handlers and people who help us train the dogs to be an resource to assist emergency services in central Pennsylvania and beyond. We network and train both search and rescue dogs and police dogs. The Ning Network I created is for the WKACP. It serves as a social site for both WKACP members and people we want to attract to the organization either as active members or as information platform. We have members for local police departments, EMA directors, dog product suppliers and people who are thinking about joining WKACP to help train the dogs by hiding for them or obtaining certifications to do SAR work and enter the field with our K9 teams as support personnel.
