Welcome to visual artist Mauricio Zarate Art Studio's NING network. Mauricio has been a full time artist since 1994 and during the past 15 years he has studied the relationship betweeen art and science. The main topics of his work gravitate around Complex Dynamical Systems, Chaos Theory, Emergent Systems, and Fractals. Since 2007 Mauricio has been working on an exciting collection of works derived from the painting process, under the concept of Cosmological Expressionism. As a whole, the Cosmological Expressionist works are a pictorial analysis and visual abstraction of physical processes that occur in the universe in three scales: cosmic,molecular and subatomic.
