I hold a Ph.D. in cognitive psychology from the University of Georgia . I created a network for sharing and discussing poetry in a friendly atmosphere. There are many sites on the Internet for sharing poetry, but most of them are either mutual appreciation societies where people just complement each other with no criticism, or brutal bloody Roman Colosseum type situations where people are just mean and nasty without being helpful. I believe that it is possible to be constructive and polite at the same time.
