Registered nurse for 26 years, formerly fundraiser for non-profit theatre in NYC (1974-1984). Independent doc filmmaker. Union organizer. Currently working at UCLA in critical care. Previously at Jackson Memorial Medical Center in Miami, FL. Moved to LA in 1997. Creating “The Rainbow League” on Ning as an outreach arm of a nonprofit, The Moebius Fund, Inc., which works to serve and assist individuals in becoming more self-empowered, self-sufficient and self-determined. We have a particular interest in assisting individuals who are in recovery, offering life coaching and mentoring services free of charge. I am a member of the Fund's Board of Directors and currently serve as the Fund's Executive Director. The Rainbow League will serve as a connection point for others across the country and worldwide who share these same interests. We hope to create an exchange of ideas and provide both projects where our members and others can volunteer assistance, and connections to other individuals and grassroots organizations with similar goals that may be able assist those with whom we are working.
