ART STATEMENT: My Art is a research on Light and Sound in relation to Culture and Communication. I strongly believe that Light is a source of Life that tells a story Night and Day. We wake up in the morning, the following day to do all our activities until dawn through the night repeatedly for years controlled by Light. I look at Light to be the medium of Life. I look at Sound as a medium of interaction. We talk and hear each other. We listen to Music, birds, wind, engines water splashes and clocks ticking that creates humor to our Life. But what’s that? What makes as understand or enjoy what we hear? I believe that there’s a layer underneath sound that blends with the soul with this in mind, I try to unearth all this in my Art. I like working with waste objects or found objects to create something useful and beautiful that can be appreciated by Community in the society. In the waste or found objects, I see something that I try to bring out or express as a product or a process to solve the problem of trash, HIV/AIDS Awareness and family planning. In my Art, I like expressing movements of objects or found objects, which is incorporated in my Artwork. I get my inspirations from “ Light & Sound ” and the environment around me at that particular time. “ Light & Sound “ are treasures of Life we all enjoy… the driver of Life.
